It is Christmas Time

Christmas time brings thoughts of friends and family, traditions and fun. And for me this year a little guilt. I made a goal to keep up this blog better throughout the year and call my family more often to just say hi. So I want all my friends and family to know that I love them and hope this Christmas season is full of sweet smiles, and lots of cheer. May there be no irritation, no pressure on your self and no sadness. Find time for the quiet moments and remember the Gift to the world that we celebrate at this time. I love the Savior and I'm so grateful for the Atonement. I need to use it more in my life. May the Spirt touch all our lives this season to speak a little more kind, to think a little more kind, and to look up on ourselve and other with a little more charitible love in our eyes and hearts. halloween

I have had a fun time getting ready for Halloween. This year I'm one of the Incharge room moms. I decided I wanted to head up a harry potter halloween party. They read the first book in class this year and Ruger liked it. I got 100 glow sticks and hung them up on the celing. Jill Hoyt made some great wands and coin pouches. Jolene Harris got some great games together. Anyway, we turn the 3rd grad class room into Hogwarts. We used grandma reeves great house banners and sorting hat. We had a trolly and Greengot bank. We sorted everyone into their houses and then played fun halloween ,hogwart games. Then the whole school had a great halloween parade. Then we drove to Hurricaine to have great time at the reeve family party. Grandma and grandma put on a great show like always. Everyone's costumes were fabulouse. Now we are getting ready for the upcoming holliday season. I'm trying to think of ways to teach my children to be greatful:) I look around and we are so blessed. I'm a very greatful blessed person. I have a wonderful husband who works hard for us. My children keem me moving and continuing learning. I'm greatful for there wonderful personalities and for the moments when they say mom. I say what. They say, Oh, I just love you. I hope that I can "Just Love" people.

So this has been a crazy weekend. Our family has been in Provo on Vacation and I ran Raganer, which is craziness and total fun all wrapped together. Then on the way home we had to check rossi into the hospital and found out she has phomnoia and they life flighted he up to primary childrends. So now i'm sitting int he Library here at the hospital waiting for her to get all her gases to a point where they will try and take out the tube. Maybe tomorow, brobably the next day. Hope for tomorrow.

Well, i will be getting an updated movie soon. Rossi has had RSV and has been in the hospital for three days. It's amazing how everyones lives just keep moving on and yours is in slow motion. But we're grateful for a place to go and get better. i feel like singing christmas carols. Its snowing and snowing.

Well besides watching a lot of basketball I have been doing pretty much nothing. I was sad to see BYU get beat. But that is how it goes. I'm going to cheer for butler now.

So my plan is to update my life once a month with movies. I'm two days late for january so sorry. Enjoy.
We have had great fun this past month. I added some of the last of decmeber cause we had so much fun at Bev old home:)
Other things that are going on. Bert almost ran someone over going to work. Rossi is cutting teeth. Kimber has been sick. Colt is doing preschool with linda. We love it. hometots.com if any one is interested in some great preschool ideas. Ruger is getting more responsible and just growing up too fast. Me i'm gettin close to my under 200lb goal. I have a ways to go to be a healthy weight but baby steps:)

So what are everyones New years Resolutions.

Physical
1. as always loose weight be under 200lbs
2. be up to 5 miles running by the end of summer
3. get the binnie sorensen family project done
4. Get all of our family pics scanned
5. Do a fun activity at least once a week with my kids one on one

Spritual
1. have a personal devotion everyday. Read. study the gospel and pray with purpose.
I don't know why I have to make this a goal. Reading and Praying should just be something I do but I seem to do better at it when I make it a goal.

2. Get to the temple once a month.

3. Speak with love. I've notice the past little while I've been very short and demanding with my kids and husband. So I have made a goal that even when I get annoied, mad, or tired, I will speak softly and with love.

4. Read Family proclamation book. If any one still wants to read this and disscuss it I'm up for the challenge

So I went and played basketball Friday, it was supose to be open gym for the girls high school team, but who showed up. Two girl, the coach, the volleyball coach, me and three 8th boys

My team won, How awesome is it to beat the basketball coach, two 8th grade boys and one 9th grade girl. And I could barely get up and down the floor and I missed every layup at least once.

Bert wants to make some contribution to the world. He would like you all to know that he steped on the scale the other day and it scared him. So know he is doing push ups and sit ups like he should be anyway. Other than that he says that is all he has to contribute to the world today.

I just want everyone to know that Rossi is growing up so fast I can hardly keep up. She is crawling and standing up and wanting to start walking. Slowdown, slowdown. Little girl. Be my snuggly little baby a little longer.
Time goes so fast you blink your eyes and the moments are gone that you feel you will always remember.

dig the hole

so our water pipe out front broke like three moths ago, so all summer I've had a hole in my front yard. Well, today that all changed, bert went to kanab, got a ton of rock and filled the hole up a little with rock and toped it off with rock and filled in the depression in the driveway. What a man. I was having a good time watching my little ruger try to keep up with his dad throwing rock from the back of the truck.

On a fun note. we had our binnie sorensen reunion and played the amazing race. Me and My aunt Liz were the winners. Yea, I won a bag a jerky. Yummy. I had to (among other things) jump in a pool to find combinations to locks, and hike as fast as I could to the top of the V Hill, oh, and find and arrowhead. Anywhat good times. and better times to be the winner.

On a sad not summer is offically over thursday for us, as my kids start school. Kimber will be going part time in the morning and all after noon and ruger is in 2nd grade. AAAAHHHH. They are too old. Kimber got some new school clothes and I relized she not just alittle baby girl anymore. Colt would like to go to school But he has to be potty trained to go. Right now he still fights me to go so maybe when school starts we can focus on that challenge. Rossi is starting to roll over and thinks about crawling but hasn't really tried yet.

We've had a lot great squash and zuccine. Our corn is almost ready. So there is an update until next time.

Well, kansas loosing busted my bracket. I was very exctied for University of Iowa or whom ever beat kansas though. How fun to nock off a number one seat.
Church was really good today. I gave the lesson on the fall and dad gave the lesson in sunday school on Joseph.
Dads lesson was very good. I'm always learning good teaching technics from him. Today he had differnt couples tell the story of joseph as they did in teaching their children and tell what they wanted their children to learn from the story of joseph. It got people thinking. And all the people who told the story had something different to learn from the story of Joseph in Egypt. Anyway, it was interesting.
Rossi is starting to wake up. She is such a cute good little girl. I'm very greatfull to be a mom for the fourth time:)

So I am excited to watch BYU vs Flordia today. I really hope BYU can pull it out. They have been notoriously bad in the first round. Anyway. I have my bracket filled out and ready to see if there are any upsets. I didn't really pick any upsets but I like it when the underdog wins. I forsee Kansas becoming the national champs. But i really don't care who wins. The fun is in the journey.

Rossi Lin is doing well. She acutally needs to burb a little better. She would rather sleep than eat or burb. She falls asleep when I'm burbing her and then is fussy cause she needs to burb but want's to sleep. Ann Hepworth took some really cute pics of her. When I get them I'll post some:) She had her two week checkup and is 7lbs 11 oz. She is growing and growing. I look at how big she is now compared to when she was born and can't belive Colt and kimber were both bigger than she is now when they were born.. Little is good for birthing.

Well, Jana and Linda have been here and that is always fun. They have been good help to watch my kids and keep mom and I company.

I had a moment so I'm updating my blog. I know any of you who follow this will be very surprised. So to update you on the car, we decided to go with a more economic Van. I'm not sure how I feel about being a Van mom, but I promise not to let it change me too much:)
I've been really lazy lately, I don't sleep well at night, so I stay up and watch NCIS on my Ipod. I've bought seasons 3 -7. The only really exciting thing that has happend, besided getting a new car, Which the kids love, is the bookmobile. I love bookmobile day. I get a bunch of new books and my kids want to read them all day. I try to get one book for kimber to go with her speech sound we are working on, which is SH. And one that I could probably sign and get a concept across. For colt I get a alphabet and truck or dinasaur book. Ruger i get a scooby doo or Train, or about anything for him. We are starting easy chapter books and he likes to pick his own.
Story time at night is the best way for us to wind down and get ready for bed. The boys are much better than kimber at going to bed. She always says one more book. and Which one, One or Two. She's started to ask WHAT alot and Where. So that is fun.
Ruger is into Justice League. (it isn't my favorite) But He is Supermand and Colt is Flash Gordan and Kimber is all the Girls. Ruger runs around with his superman cape (from halloween) saving Colt and Kimber from pending disasters. The other night Ruger tried to carry Kimber away from the danger but only got two steps before he fell under her weight. Colt is funny too. He will says, I'm Flash mom, and run as fast as he can to the bathroom and back. His new phrases are Yep, and Not right now... Colt come in for supper, Not right now mom, Wait a minuet.
I wonder when I say that?

My adventures of Cars on Thursday.

Thursday morning on the way to work bert crashed our car by over correcting in the snow. ( we have found out that it is totaled. He pretty much dinged up the drivers side of the car pretty good.)

Then that night I crashed my dad's truck by backing it in to a wash. I really don't have any excuses execpt the power was out, it was snowing, I didn't have my glasses on and I'm pregnant.

It was really scary excpecilly for the kids. The back window shattered and they were a little tramatized but thankfully not injured. The hardest part of the whole adventure was trying to get my pregant self out of the wash. But the baby seems to be fine. It's been moving around like always. I hurt my arm, I think just from holding on to the steering wheel to tight. It should be better in a couple days. Bert had a little whiplash stiffness, but other than that the kids haven't complaind of any injuries. It was very scary and exciting at the same time for them. When we got out of the wash, I was holding colt and asked if I could but him down so I could help grab kimber. No mommy, please, I am to sad. HE said . Then the when my dad came he souldn't stop talking about how grandpa's window was broken and we had to get it fixed.
All and All it was quite a night. The power was off all night and most of the morning so they did get to have some fun with flashlights.
(that is the ugly part the the story)

The bad part is we have to get a new car a little sooner than expected. So if any of you know of a good deal on a family car, let us now. I really don't want a van but I want something with a little better gas milage then a suburban. Since bert will bet driving it to work.

The good. I only have 4 weeks left until the expected arival and things seem to be going great. I have a wonderful husband who shovels the snow and makes me fires and breakfast and does laundry. My kids are so cute I amazed at the things I learn from them every day. Hopefully when this baby is born I will not be so irratble so quickly, and i can start feeling a little back to normal:)

Christmas Letter

Ok yall, I've been really boring with my blog. I don't get on very often as you can all see. But I'll try and update everyone what has been going on this year.

Let's see.. Lets start with Bert

Bert is still working at the jail, he has been Officer in charge a few times. This means that he gets to have complete power while the boss is gone for a day or two... Actually it means he has to stay later if there are any problems. He likes the jail and is still working on being more diplomatice so he's not the most complained about jailer. He needs to learn how to say NO nicely. He bought an assalt rifle and another gun for his dad. He has had a lot of fun with these guns. So have all the cops and all his brother inlaws.
He decided to get chickens this year for the kids and worked hard on building a coop for them to live in. I'll have to say that he did a good job taking care of them until lately. They all ended up being roosters exept one. Since the reason we got them in the first place was for eggs, having all roosters has defeated the purpose. I told him to kill them but they are still crowing. I keep thinking they might freeze and I feel bad. I'd rather them get shot then have to suffer.
He aslo has been working on many house projects that have happened. This summer the pipe running to the house broke and this winter our pipes froze and broke in numerous places. So We've been with out water a few times this year. We feel like pioneers. Exept we get to shower at moms and she does our laundry.
Ruger: He started Fist gratde this year and all of the sudden decided he didn't like home work. We've had a few homework battles and a few talks with his teacher about staying on task at school. He loves to read and is one of the best readers in the class. He is a good helper and is growing up way to fast for me. He is starting to like Super heroes, scoby doo, and Hot wheels. He stills enjoys trains but is brancing out a little, which is ok with us. He is such a tender hearted little guy and usually tries to enteratin his little brother and sister. He says we are going to have a girl because it would fit the pattern of boy girl boy girl.
Kimber is all girl still. She doesn't like to go to bed. I think she got that from her dad. She love preschool and learning. Her speech is improving and she loves to sing in the bathroom. She is definatly the boss and thinks she can tell her brothers what to do. She has had a few hair cutting episodes. her lastone involving a buzz. She found her uncle davids hair cutter and buzzed her hair in two places. She didn't like it very much and her mother was very upset at her. She hasn't cut her hair for a month, so maybe she is cured.
She love to create things, cutting paper, gluing pictures and writing her name. She love people and friends.
Colt: What can I say. He is my rough and tumble boxing, hitting tackling, yelling boy. He is my morning person. He is happiest in the morning when he wakes up. He has a great vocabulary and tells wonderfull stories. We are working on hitting at taking from his brother and sister. He is very stubborn( the must come from Bert too :) He gives the best Glover Bear hugs.
Me. My time is spent doing a little cleaning, a little playing, a little bit of this and that. I've enjoyed playing with the symphony of the canyons. (even though I'm not very good) I enjoy helping people out when I can. I enjoy our sessions with our deaf mentor and learning new signs. I have been overly onry and short tempered the past month and much more hormonal. I am tring to be more patient but I ususally don't make it through the day. Hopefully I will return to normal in Feb. My kids are cute and I am a very predujice mother, who thinks her kids are the cutest and do and say the cutes things. I love them very much. I'm very gratful for Bert and his patientce with me and his hard work on fixing the house.
We are very lucky to live close to Grandpa and grandma Glover.
We wish we saw all of you more.

So I finally got on to blog. I'm getting fatter, rounder, and bigger. But that is how life goes. The kids are doing great. They are already exited for christmas. Kimber cut her hair, again, loves to creat stuff. Colt is going potty only for potty treats, and Ruger goes between being supermand and Transformers. Well, this is not an interesting post. I'm kind of blank right now.

Hello Everyone
I'm just posting a little bit because I saw my sister in law's blog and got a cute background from where she got hers. Thanks Casey. Well, I'm still pregnant and I'm probably going to the doctor in a couple weeks to confirm it officially. I've been hanging out with my mom, doing peaches and taking her for rides up in the canyon to look at the leaves that are changing. It's begining to look like fall. For anyone who would like to know, September and the begining of fall is my favorite time of year. I'll get some fall pics posted soon. Funny of the day.
The other day I told colt not to put his boots on, because they would make his feet stink. He looked at the boots and at me and said, Mom, It's ok. I wash'em.

Well, that was that he put them on and wore them all day but I don't think he got around to washing...

Well, School has started. Ruger loves first grade and recess, sometimes he loves homework and sometimes he doesn't. Kimber starts school on 8th and she is very excited. She gave herselve a great mullett haircut ( thanks michelle for fixing that) Colt is just growing up to fast.
Ruger had a great primary day. This week he learned that will never, never, never be alone if he has Jesus with him. He also learned that his body is a temple and you shouldn't get tatoos, like his dad. Bert hopes he will not follow him in that example. Anyway, everyone have agreat day.

Well, Some great news first, I'm pregnant and due in Februrary. Sorry I haven't posted for a long, long, time but my dad has had blogspot blocked for a while. Anyway, we've had some crazy things going on.

First Berts Grandpa passed away, It was very sudden and very sad but he was a great man and the funeral services were very nice. All the people were so kind.

We had our Glover reunion. It was great to see so many people i hardly ever see. it was extra fun to have Bev here cause she usually isn't.

The next fun thing was we hiked the narrows. It was really long and my feet were really sore when we finished but It was worth it. I don't think i will ever do the whole thing again, atleast not while i'm Prego. I slowed our group down a little bit having to stop more than they would have and some people passed us. Bev was a little irriated about that:) here are some pics

Happy Mothers Day to all you Mothers out there. I have had so many mothers who have influenced my life. I hope that I can be loving like my mother.
I played in the symphony of the canyons spring concert. I did ok. and it was fun. Maybe you all should come to one of my summer concerts. The grand canyon is fun. It's such a pretty place.

So I played in the tournment and had a ton of fun. I did ok but I'm pretty out of shape. I could only handle a few minuets at a time. I was really sore sunday and monday but tuesday i felt really good and the soreness was gone.
This week I have been sick with a head cold. And I wish I was going to Colorado with jana to visit bev. Or Linda would come visit me. I hope david gets a job and stays here all summer.
Thanks to everyone who came to ruger's birthday party he had a lot of fun. I need to go find a wrench for bert to fix our pipe and fill in the hole in our front yard.

This week I tried to help sage get some painting done. Thanks for watching my kids Lori and Grandma Reeve. I hope we can come out next week and get some more done. This weekend I'm playing in a ball tourny. I'm really exctied I've been running and doing stairs and situps to try and get ina little better shape. I hope I can make it at least 3 minuets. I'm starting to take an ASL class. I went last night and had a lot of fun. I'm hoping to get better at the language instead of signing in english order. And I hope to practice a lot. Love ya all D

Well my brother Jerry got married to Casey last friday and it was so beautiful. They will be very happy. All of our family was here and we had a lot of fun. Bert took his brother in laws out to shoot his gun. They loved it.

We had a really fun Easter. We colored eggs, Had a egg hunt, and went and rolled them. A family from Washington stopped and watched our egg rolling. Then they judged who had the best trail. Tate won according to them. But Jerry's was really cool. He lost points for bringing a shovel, pipes and a hoe. Good times

Prayer

This isn't really signifigent exept to me and bert but I though everyone else could benifit from its cutness. Lastnight Ruger was saying his bedtime prayers. Useually he prays for the same things with a little variation from what has happend that day. Last night he ended saying. Bless the wicked that they will repent.
So, Lord please bless me that I will repent and help answer the prayer of a little child of Faith.

The Old lady can heal

This is for my faithful 3 followers. Yes an old lady like me can heal. It has been 4 days since my sprianed ankle and I'm feeling pretty good. I did some stepping aerobics and I think by monday I will be up for pracitce again. bert has the day off so I might go to the Arobice class too.

I get to give the lesson tomorrow in RS. That's about all the excitement I can handle for one day.

Today Bert had to leave to go Training in Gunnison. Ruger was bawling because he didn't want Bert to leave. Bert told him he needed to help mommy and be the man of the house. At dinner Ruger said mom I get you be like you now. I said yes, you get you help me take care of things and bring the wood in. Then he said, sometimes I feel grown up inside. I'm glad I told him.

Oh, Colt just hit kimber with a rubics cube goodtimes.

Funny of the day. Me being me, thinking I'm still really good at basketball and not a old, fat, old fat, old lady who can't jump. I decided ( Mostly because I was awake at 4:00 becuase my kids had woken up and congragated in my bed, leaving no room for me.) to go to the high school baskbetball practice. I did pretty good until the end of practice I raised my foot up as close to a jumb as an old, fat lady can get and came down wrong PAIN POPPing tearing cracking. I felt like my foot had been removed from my leg. But me being me I walked it off and subed myself back in to end practice. Now when ever I get up from sitting I feel like some one has hit my foot with a sledge hammer. Unlike my sister Jana, I do belive in Icing so I iced it but it still hurts. I wonder how long it takes for an old, fat lady to heal.

Anyway, we have had a great chrismas and are so happy to be at bevs. Kirsten is so cute and the kids are having fun fighting and playing. Well you can watch my little movie about our year of 2008. It has been a great year. We are so very blessed in all areas of life. This month has been busy getting ready for christmas. Funny story of the week. Ruger shared a book with Kimber without me asking him to. I told him that was really nice. I asked him. Don't you feel nice, warm and fuzzy inside? He said yes. A couple days later he said, Mom Santa must feel nice, warm and fuzzy alot because he gives lots of gifts away.
Bert and I have been watching J.A.G. In one episode they had to do CPR. I went into the kitchen and when I came back Kimber had Colt on the floor doing CPR.

Well, Nothing new here just the same ole. I have a christmas concert tonight. I made christmas socks for the kids from material they picked out. Ruger picked Thomas the train material. Kimber picked princess and colt sport. It was fun. Monday we are going to decorate them. What are all you up to for christmas?
By the way lori. If I don't remember to call you. I just remember I hadn't called you back about the frozen dinner date. Any day but monday and Thursdays are good for me.

Well, we had a great thanksgiving. Me and the kids ate with mom and dad and David. Then we went to hurrican to visit and have dinner and pie. Very Yummy! Didn't see you there Kevin and Lori. Maybe all your family was at your house watching movies on your theater system. Today started the Turkey tournament. I was a little worried when at 9:15 no on else on my team had shown up. But lucky for me they made it. We didn't win a game but had fun and michelle got in some good spikes. Chelese was the winner in my book cause she stuck it out throwing up between matches. (morning sickness) Maybe tomorrow will be our day.

Bert had a great thanks giving and is looking forward to playing in the turkey tournament tonight. Go Dad Go!

Well Today I am recopperation from getting david home. It was so much fun to see him and watch him come off the plain. The other best part the the day was that Bev had their baby and named it Kirsten Jacqueline. Mom was very excited. It was just great to have a lot of family and friends around. I'm trying to finish a quilt. I do have to tell a funny story on Linda (my sister) She asked her daughter to come get her diper changed. Isabelle said no. Linda then said what did you say. Isabelle prombly said You heard me. Isabelle just turned 18months. Oh, the love of what sweet children will say. Have a good day.

This is my favorite thing that colt has done so far. He likes to read the book No david. Any way I think it is funny.

Ok, so the Bert and DeAnna Reeve family have officially become somewhat bloggers. We are all doing very well. As we speak Ruger is complaining that he has to do home work and dosen't want to. So much for the excitement of school.
Kimber is doing well. Every monday Kimberly ( our deaf mentor ) comes and teaches us a little more ASL. In school she is learning to get along with others and is working on her speach. It is comming along well. Her favorite thing to do is ride her bike.
Colt is Colt. He love to play and talk and is a little moddy at the moment. Most of the time he is happy and ready for anything.
Bert is working at the Jail and sometimes love its but often times it's the same ol same ol
